In what might have amounted to history’s lamest publicity attempt, Parks and Recreation regular Aubrey Plaza stage-bombed Will Ferrell as he accepted the MTV Movie Award’s Comedic Genius prize on Sunday night.

Attempting to upstage Ferrell and his three-piece “money suit,” Plaza hopped on-stage and attempted to wrestle the award from his hands.
She failed.
Producers were not impressed with the move, and Plaza was promptly removed from the Sony studios lot where the ceremony was being held.
The move was an apparent attempt to promote her upcoming CBS film, of which the title was written across her chest.
